Mentor/Mentee Program

In order to build community within CEEC, we are excited to launch- the CEEC Mentor Program! This program serves as a way for attendees to experience the conference by personally connecting with someone from within the field and make a professional connection. We are looking for mentors who would be willing to connect with an attendee before and throughout the conference. This may include corresponding by email before the conference to see if the mentee needs any assistance in preparing for the conference (such as helping to review their research talk or poster, downloading or using discord etc.) and corresponding and keeping in touch during the conference and offering advice if asked by the mentee. Also, during the networking event there will be a break out room for mentor and mentees to get to know each other more if they want.

If you are interested in being a mentor and/or mentee fill out the following google drive survey before the conference (note mentors and mentees will be paired up ~1 week before the conference to allow pre-conference correspondence).
